Pengaruh Safety Leadership Terhadap Kecelakaan Kerja Operator Forklift di Perusahaan Manufaktur Plastik

The plastic manufacturing company is the largest multinational company in Indonesia with flexible plastic film marketing products that have reached the international market. This company in East Java produces flexible plastic films on a large scale, resulting in losses by using forklifts, in addition the company is also committed to preventing work accidents in forklift operators. One of the factors that influence work accidents is related to safety leadership. This study aims to determine the effect of safety leadership on forklift operator work accidents using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The PLS-SEM method was chosen because it is able to handle complex research models with relatively small samples. The results showed a significant effect of safety leadership (t-value = 8.830) and (p-value = 0.000) on work accidents. This emphasizes the importance of safety leadership in reducing forklift operator work accidents in plastic manufacturing companies.
